Come and hear the stories of the Nativity as presented in the most beautiful choral works for the Christmas season. The program includes the Magnificat composed by Ruth Watson Henderson, several extracts from Haendel’s Messiah, as well as traditional carols. Our special guests are to be the children’s choir from the École Marc-Favreau and our accompanist will be Pierre McLean.

From Sure on this Shining Night by Barber to Miniwanka by Murray Shaffer and including Nootka Paddle Song by Raminsh and The Seal Lullaby by Whitacre, come and celebrate Mother Nature with us.

Throughout all time composers have been inspired by the natural world that surrounds us. Anima Musica invites you on a round-the-world tour of the hills and valleys presented in choral works in time and space. Our accompanist will be François Zeitouni.
